About Elad Kathriel

Elad Kathriel is a structural engineer, graduated with a bachelor's degree (2011) and a master's degree (2017) at the Technion, with a thesis in the field of earthquake engineering.

Between 2009-2011 Elad served as a teaching assistant in several courses in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion, including: engineering mechanics, statics, dynamics laboratory and computer methods in building analysis. In his master's degree, Elad dealt with an optimal earthquake upgrade of frame buildings with locked block walls.

In 2011, Elad started working as a structural engineer at Yaron Ofir Engineers. Elad specializes in upgrading buildings, including block wall structures, industrial facilities for earthquake resistance. Has experience in planning new buildings in the fields of industry and residences, high and multi-story buildings, steel buildings and concrete buildings and specializes in calculation according to the Israeli and American standard.

Elad leads seismic surveys at the Weizmann Institute as well as surveys in many authorities.

Starting in 2019, Elad serves as the head of the engineering team at the company's branch in Tel Aviv.
