Seismic testing of existing bridges for Maatz

Inspection of the Nahraim bridge, two Shapir bridges, four Ganot bridges, the Ganot model coastal road bridges and the Kfar Chabad bridge for resistance to the forces resulting from earthquake action, in a work ordered by the Bridges Division of Maatz. Further to the aforementioned inspection works, we were ordered Planning works for structural and seismic upgrades, which will actually be carried out for the Naharim bridge and two Shapir bridges. For the purpose of calculating effective and simple reinforcement details under the existing constraints in active bridges, advanced analyzes including non-linear analyzes and time response analyzes for earthquake records adapted to the site, including acute vertical oscillations, were used.
